Historical note
The eleventh World General Assembly brought 52 national delegations to Sharjah from 8 to 12 March 2023. The formal election session recorded in the minutes took place on 11 March.
The Assembly approved revised bylaws and internal rules on 9 March, confirmed Ali Abdullah Khalifa as President and elected the Board for the 2023–2027 term. It ran alongside an IOV Youth Assembly, bringing governance, commission work and intergenerational cultural exchange into one gathering.
