For nearly five decades, IOV has worked across borders to safeguard folk art, traditional craftsmanship and living heritage, while promoting cultural diversity, mutual understanding and peace. As a UNESCO-accredited advisory NGO for intangible cultural heritage, we bring together cultural practitioners, scholars, educators, artists, young people and communities from around the world.

At a time of rapid global change, living traditions remain a vital source of identity, creativity and human connection. They carry the knowledge and values of generations, while continuing to evolve through education, innovation and exchange.

This new digital platform represents an important step in IOV's development. More than an official website, it is a shared international space where our members, National Sections, committees, partners and friends can connect, exchange knowledge, present their work and develop new forms of cooperation.
