Decide whether the application is for one person, a group, a cultural organisation or an institution.
Email IOV World with the applicant name, country, cultural field and preferred membership category.
The responsible IOV contact will explain the application, review, fee and payment route that applies in your country.

What to confirm
Membership information can change. Use the enquiry to obtain the current requirements and retain that written confirmation.
Institutional clarification
This page does not represent IOV membership as conferring a UNESCO role, appointment or consultancy. Any external role requires separate confirmation by the responsible institution.
Include your name, country, cultural field and the category you believe applies. Do not send payment until current instructions have been confirmed in writing.
