The commission brings younger members into IOV’s work through traditional games, international congresses, and exchange between youth networks.

The Commission on Youth and Traditional Games engages the next generation in folk culture. International congresses, regional networks, and active participation programmes create settings in which traditional games and youth-oriented practices can be learned and carried forward.
Members under 36 receive a discounted membership rate and can connect with youth culture advocates through the wider IOV network.
