Historical note
The fourth IOV World Youth Congress was held in Nova Petrópolis, Brazil, from 29 July to 2 August 2015 and was organised by IOV Brazil and the city in cooperation with IOV World.
Its theme examined the role of youth in safeguarding and transmitting the intangible cultural heritage of immigrant and ethnic communities in diaspora. Presentations, workshops and discussions ran alongside the city’s international folklore festival.
