Historical note
This edition of the IOV European Scientific Conference met in Colmar, France in July 2000. Its published theme was “Folk culture and tourism and their contribution to the culture of peace.”
IOV’s retrospective presents the European conference series as a forum for researchers from different parts of Europe to study both shared cultural patterns and cultural specificity.
