Historical note
This edition of the IOV European Scientific Conference met in Novgorod, Russia in 30 May–4 June 1990. Its published theme was “The role of folk culture in creating the common European home.”
IOV’s retrospective presents the European conference series as a forum for researchers from different parts of Europe to study both shared cultural patterns and cultural specificity. The online index preserves the programme title and location; where no separate report is linked, this article does not claim further outcomes.
