The 17th IOV European Scientific Conference of Folk Culture took place in Cieszyn, Poland, on 22 and 23 October 2025 under the title “Anthropology in the Borderland – Borderlands in Anthropology.”
The programme brought together members of IOV’s Science and Research Commission for Europe with researchers, students and museum practitioners to discuss cultural identity, migration and the safeguarding of heritage in border regions.
