The evocative locations of Alberobello and Noci framed it from 13 to 15 May 2022 at various initiatives related to the event “You walk and meet for one Puglia welcoming, resilient and historically oriented towards dialogue
intercultural”, promoted project by the Italian Federation of Traditions Popular and co-financed by the Region Puglia, Department of Tourism, economics of culture and valorisation of the territory.
ETHNOGRAPHIC EXHIBITIONS: “TRANSHUMANCE. CHILDREN OF THE MINOTAUR" AND “WITNESSES FROM THE SOUTH”
During the morning of May 13th were inaugurated in attendance of local and regional authorities the ethnographic exhibitions “Transhumance. The Sons of the Minotaur. Stories of men and animals” and “Witnesses of South. Images of anthropological cinema in Southern Italy (Apulia – Basilicata – Calabria)”. The two exhibitions were hosted in the prestigious cloister of San Domenico in Noci and have been set up edited by the Cineteca della Calabria. The exhibitions remained open at public from 13 to 15 May.
“THE SONGS AND DANCES OF THE GODS FATHERS” - PROMOTION OF ARTISTIC HERITAGE ED APULIA ETHNOGRAPHIC
On the evening of May 13, starting at 21.00, it took place in the Theater of the Trulli of Alberobello the show “The songs and dances of the fathers” - Promotion of artistic heritage and Apulian ethnography. During of the event, which was conducted by Nino Graziano Luca, yes the groups are exhibited: “La Murgia” by Noci (BA), "City of Locorotondo" (BA), “Santu Pietru cu tutti le chiai” of San Pietro Vernotico (BR), “City dei Trulli” of Alberobello (BA) and “Motl la Fnodd” of Mottola (TA), the whose highly appreciated performances are been preceded by the performance of the folk singer Antonio Amato of Diso (LE), famous voice of the “Night The show was attended over to a large audience, several personalities political and civil and numerous guests from all over the world and summoned to Puglia on occasion of the international meeting.
INTERNATIONAL MEETING ON THE THEME: “CULTURAL HERITAGE, COMMON COMMITMENT TO SEND TO FUTURE GENERATIONS A HERITAGE OF RESOURCES CULTURAL"
On 14 May, at 10.00, it was held in the Palazzo di Città in Noci the International Meeting on the theme: “Cultural heritage, commitment common to pass on to the generations future a legacy of cultural resources”, during which it is a Memorandum of Understanding was signed among the different nations present, act to facilitate the exchange of experiences culture among young people. IOV Special Projects Commission, Vladan Tesanovic – V. President IGF, Javier Rodrigo Ilarri - Director IOV Europe Regional Executive and Tobia Rinaldo – Representative FITP Board IGF.

GRAND GALA IGF “GOLD STAR IN FOLKLOR 2022”
Also on May 14, 2022, at 20.30, in the Trulli Theater in Alberobello, the IGF Grand Gala took place “Gold Star in Folklor 2022”, accomplished by the World Folklore Union IGF, with the Award Ceremony of personality that in the world yes are distinguished by valuation of ethnographic heritage and for have promoted policies of dialogue intercultural.
During the awards ceremony, skilfully conducted by Nino Graziano Luca, it has been realized the concert “La Grande Musica Italiana”, which saw the presence of the Levante Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Michele Cellaro, with the artistic direction of M° Nino Lepore.
The Concert was opened with the performance of the interpreted national anthem by the soprano Maria Luigia Martino and the tenor Leonardo Gramegna, later the orchestra performed the soundtrack of the film "Life is beautiful" by Nicola Piovani, while on the screen they came project images of heritage history and art of Puglia. Next, the conductor of the evening presented the program of the event scheduled in project “Ways and Meetings for a welcoming, resilient Puglia and historically oriented towards dialogue intercultural” and then passed the floor for institutional greetings to Dr. Aldo Patruno, Ass. adv. Anna Martellotta, to the President of the F.I.T.P. Maestro Benito Ripoli and the President of the I.G.F. Dr. Dorel Cosma.
After the greetings, the interpreters Maria Luigia Martino and Leonardo Gramegna they again performed on the theme of the “Classical Neapolitan song” performing “‘O sole mio” by Alfredo Mazzucchi and Eduardo Di Capua e “‘O surdato ‘nnammurato” by Aniello Califano and Enrico Cannio. Subsequently, it was read of the motivation for the Awards (the same for all winners) ed was called, for Romania, the Prof. Father Nicolae Feier, to whom
the IGF award was presented “Gold Star in Folklor 2022”, accomplished by the well-known Crotonese goldsmith Michele Entrusted. Delivery has taken place on the notes of the musical background “Ode to Joy”, written by Ludwig van Beethoven in 1823 and became in 1985 the official anthem of the Community European while on screen a related film was projected to the award winner.
After the delivery of the first acknowledgment, the soprano Maria Luigia Martino continued with his lovely voice to pay homage to the classic Neapolitan song, interpreting the song “Io te vurrìa vasà” by Vincenzo Russo and Eduardo Of Capua, and to follow, while on images were projected on the screen of historical and artistic heritage Italian, the Orchestra performed "Tema d'amore" by Ennio Morricone from the film "New Cinema Paradiso" by Giuseppe Tornatore, and “The Godfather” by Nino Rota from the film “Il Godfather” by Francis Ford Coppola, on the theme of the “Famous Columns soundtracks for cinema awarded by Oscar Prize". Continuing the Ceremony of awards to personalities who in the world have stood out for their valorisation of the ethnographic heritage and for promoting policies of intercultural dialogue, it was called Dr. Aldo for Italy Patruno, who received the prize IGF “Gold Star in Folklor 2022” on notes of the inevitable “Inno alla joy” and the screening of a film relating to its business. After the umpteenth award ceremony, the soprano Maria Luigia Martino and the tenor Leonardo Gramegna, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Levant, they interpreted the songs: "In the blue painted blue", song made famous in the world by Domenico Modugno and “With you I will leave”, a song made famous throughout the world by Andrea Bocelli, while were projected onto the screen lovely heritage images Italian art and history. We then proceeded to the delivery of the third IGF “Gold Star in Folklor 2022” awarded, for Israel, to Prof. Yigal Triki always on notes of the beautiful "Ode to Joy" and the projection of a related film to the award winner. At this point, for the theme “The great Italian music – sing opera” is touched again to the soprano Maria Luigia Martino and the Orchestra perform the piece “Nessun dorma”, from Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, then passing the assignment of the fourth and last IGF “Gold Star in Folklor 2022”, conferred for the Bulgaria with the same precedents procedures to the Chief Conductor of Dimitar Khristov Orchestra. In the final he was called on stage, representing folklore from Puglia, the folk group “La Murgia” of Noci, which he performed a traditional regional song, then, for the greetings and the final toast complete with bottle stopper and Italian sparkling wine pouring in the chalices, all have been called the winners, the Regional Authorities, the President, Councilors and members the Bureau of the FITP and the Representatives of the IGF, while Maria Luigia Martino performed the song "Libiamo, ne' felici calici" from "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, for the theme “Homage to music Italian opera".
BOARD IGF, ALBEROBELLO
On May 14, at the same time with organized events on the occasion of the event “You walk and meet”, he had place in Alberobello in the premises of the Ramapendula hotel, designated headquarters of the whole project,
the International Board of the IGF. After greetings, Dorel Cosma President of the World Folklore Union IGF introduced the agenda, following up on the Voiron meeting (France) of last February. Over the Board have been
covered various topics of appearance organizational and there was discussion about establishment of some groups work that will serve to improve the management and organization of the IGF.
PROMOTION ACTIVITIES TERRITORY TOURISM APULIA THROUGH THE CREATION OF PATHS OF KNOWLEDGE PARTICULAR RELATIONS HERITAGE ASPECTS APULIA ETHNOGRAPHIC
On May 15, during the morning, was made for guests who attended the International Folklore Meeting an excursion in the entourage of Murgia dei Trulli, on the theme “KNOWLEDGE AND FLAVORS OF PUGLIA”, where
the Nocese countryside depicts a detail landscape and rich ecosystem of cultural traditions they offer tourists a warp of emotions and seduction represented by heritage household, full of charms environmental and past claims. A visit could not be missed to the “Murgia Albanese” farmhouse of Noci, an ancient beauty estate the only one built in the 18th century, where are they preserved furniture and furnishings of the XVII and XVIII century. The ancient farms, that unfold in the green expanses of the Nocese countryside, they offer themselves ad be an ideal destination for rural tourism and cultural. At the end of the path, two notes local companies of Noci (BA) have delighted the palates of those present with artisan bakery products: the “Zeroglu”, based in Via del Lavoro e degli Studi 6/N, which offered various gluten-free artisan specialties e the Marzodd Cellars, based in Via
G. Di Vittorio 11, which they offered taste the excellent Marzodd wine Winery and excellent oil from their products. Other guided tours have been carried out in the previous days, when guests attending the event they got to admire the important cultural deposits of strong tourist attraction, such as dry stone conical buildings traditional - the so-called “trulli” of central-southern Puglia and of Alberobello and the beautiful village of Locorotondo (BA), one of the cities white wines of Puglia, kingdom of balconies and "cummerse" (houses typical with sloping roofs), immersed in the Itria Valley. The visits and the proposed routes got the complete satisfaction of the guests.
