Song and Dance Ensemble RUDKI is a representative folk group working at the Youth Culture Center in Rzeszów, Poland. RUDKI is a renewal of song and dance folk group with a deep-rooted tradition and greatest achievements. Present RUDKI members are young people mainly from junior high schools and high schools in the area of Podkarpacie (region in Poland).
Experienced instructors give the chances to the group members to acquire and develop dance and vocal skills. The present team consists of the four dance groups (depending on dance skills and experience), vocal group and music group. RUDKI members are working hard to perform artistic program presenting the beauty of Polish folklore and Polish folk culture. Repertoire of the group includes 12 choreographies, both regional and national dances. Common hard work of every contestant allows to give the group unique shape and personality as well as the best quality to perform proudly on stages.
Outside the concerts RUDKI takes part in charity work and events. In addition, RUDKI participates in international folk festivals and dance projects earning the recognition of jury and audience. RUDKI appreciates performances by the Polish (especially Rzeszów) audience a lot, however taking part in international festivals is the best reward for the group for its hard work.
