Regulations & Participation Guidelines
- General Information
Parul University, in collaboration with the International Alliance for Art and Culture
(IAAC), the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV), and IOV India Section, proudly
announces the third edition of the International Folklore Festival. The festival will be
held from October 25 to 31, 2026, including arrival and departure days. - Participation Criteria:
- The festival welcomes traditional folk dance ensembles and folk bands.
- Participants must be aged 14 years and above.
- Groups may perform with live or recorded music.
Each group should consist of 10–25 members, including dancers, musicians, and
accompanying staff.
- Accommodation & Logistics
Parul University will provide:
- Accommodation at a hotel.
- Three daily meals
- Airport transfers for Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, or Delhi (nearest to
farthest).
Participants are responsible for: - International transportation, including airfare.
- Visa fees, insurance, and excess baggage costs.
- 4–5 traditional gifts for the gift-exchange ceremony
- Required Documents
Groups must submit the following:
- Application form (download here).
- Participants list (can be submitted later)
- 4-5 HD photos of performances
- 2-3 performance video links on YouTube or Google Drive
- Group history and repertoire
