Conditions and Requirements:
- Participating folk dance groups will arrive in the Republic of Moldova on the first day of the festival and leave on the last day.
- Each group can consist of a maximum of 32 people including the directors, dancers, musicians, and translators.
- The participants should be 16+ years old.
- Local transportation and the international travel expenses of the groups from their own countries to the Republic of Moldova will be covered by the participants themselves.
- Accommodation at a hostel and 3 meals per day (Groups will stay together at the same hostel).
- The organizers cannot guarantee same-room accommodation for married couples.
- The official language of the festival will be Romanian. English translators will be assigned by the organizers upon request.
- The festival program will be distributed to the participants upon arrival and the participants will be expected to abide by it.
- Participants may not engage in any activity during the dates of the festival without the consent of the festival committee.
- Live music is necessary. In exceptional situations, with the agreement of the organizers, may be accepted groups without live music.
- Most performances shall take place in the open air, in Chisinau and nearby towns.
- The groups should organize performance pieces of about 25 and 35 minutes.
- The groups should bring the flag of their country to the festival.
- If participants wish to stay longer in the Republic of Moldova than the period stated, they will have to pay 50 euro per person per day to the festival organizers.
- For the sake of preparation of the festival booklet and other promotional materials, participants are required to send information and pictures in electronic form as soon as possible.
- Every year 4-5 foreign groups and more groups from the Republic of Moldova take part in the festival.
- Participating groups bring 4-5 gifts to 3-4 local and state administrators.
- The deadline for applications to the festival is 28 of February 2025.
