Nettipattam (Elephant forehead decoration) is a glittering ornament that is used to adorn the foreheads of elephants in temple festivals. The ornament is a symbol of pride and elegance and it is believed that the ornament brings peace and prosperity in the household.
Mural Painting
Traditional Kerala mural paintings are artwork painted directly on the walls. The main characters of the art are Hindu gods and goddesses and depict mythological stories. The traditional technic of painting can be used to paint pottery, flower vase, canvas, garments, etc.
Theyyam Costume
Theyyam is a ritual performance of Kerala.
