June 18, 1967, is the date when the ensemble of songs and dances “Kastriotët from Ferizaj” was born, so even today from the position of the first chairman AKV “Kastriotët” – Ferizaj salutes the whole army of artists who during 56 years affirmed themselves in national and international manifestations and festivals their city, but also remembering with respect dozens of members who are no longer in this world, but who left their mark in the sensational activity of this artistic troupe.
Now, 56 years since the founding of the “Kastriotët” Song and Dance Ensemble from Ferizaj. More than half a century of sensational activity with ebb and flow. On the occasion of this more than half-century anniversary, for the city of Ferizaj and our culture in general, I turn to all those who were part of the membership over the years, either as singers, dancers, instrumentalists, choreographers or leaders and sponsors, with a heartfelt wish for their work and contribution to this artistic troupe.
But at the same time, I want to remember with piety all those who were part of this ensemble, but who are no longer among us, while for their contribution they will be remembered for generations.
