With great pleasure, we announce the Folkloric Dancefestival “Festdam”
To participate in the International Meeting of Folkloric Dance “MAS ALLÁ DEL AGUA”
Durango, in its sixteenth edition to the different groups, companies and folkloric ballets of our state,
country and the world; Taking place in the different regions of the state of Durango, from May 20
to 28, 2023. Which will be developed as follows:
• From May 22 to 28 groups and companies belonging to the state of Durango.
• From May 26 and 27 Ballets, companies and folkloric groups of our Mexican Republic.
• From May 20 to 28 groups, ballets and international companies.
REGULATORY BASES:
Characteristics of international groups and their participation.
1.- Artistic participations will be made as follows:
2.- Groups with a maximum number of 25 to 30 members may participate and be received,
including: dancers, teachers, staff, musicians or accompanists in general.
3.- Each artistic participation must cover 1 hour and for Saturday 27 a minimum of 20 minutes.
4.- Each folkloric group or ballet must present the dances that it considers to be representative of its
country.
5.- The dances must be presented with live music, and also send a technical data sheet of
requirements in advance.
6.- The distribution of dressing rooms and participation number will take place on the day of the
event.
7.- Referring to the purpose of this event, respect and cordiality are requested, among groups,
companies or folk ballets, to make this a healthy meeting of cultures.
8.- Any doubts or suggestions should be discussed with with by the organizing committee.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
• Groups interested in participating will be received at Francisco Sarabia International
Airport, Torreón Coahuila, Mexico.
• The Organizing Committee will take care of the stay of the groups, from May 19 to their
return on May 29, 2023.
• Lodging and food will be provided by the organization, including: breakfast, lunch and
dinner for each day of the event.
• The organizing committee will take care of your transfer within the state.
If the interested group covers the requirements set out here, they must provide their e-mail
to send the REGISTRATION FORM, which must be filled in and forwarded to the e-mail
arlennevillarreal@gmail.com with the following information:
1.- Full name of the Group, Company or Folkloric Ballet.
2.- Full name of the Director General and curriculum.
3.-Particular information of the group such as: E-mail, Telephone, Review and Dossier.
4.- City and State.
5.- Country
6.- Final number of members.
7.- Technical requirements.
8.- Brief Review of the Program and / or dances to be presented.
9.- Video (s) or video link (s) with a minimum duration of ten minutes where the skill and
professionalism of the group is shown, in addition, dances of your state and / or country
must be interpreted.
10.- Photographs of the show to be presented and the group in good resolution.
