# IOV archive image sources and page assignments

The source files below were supplied by the project owner through the private
IOV project archive for use on the IOV website. The website files are
resized JPEG derivatives; the supplied originals remain unchanged.

Where the supplied filename does not identify a photographer, exact date,
location, participants or cultural practice, the website caption describes
only what is visible and records the missing context instead of guessing.

Unless a row below states otherwise, the project archive does not include the
photographer, copyright holder, license, consent record or external-reuse terms.
The files were supplied for this website project; that fact must not be presented
as proof that an image is IOV-owned or cleared for reuse elsewhere.

Responsive WebP files whose names add a pixel width are uncropped delivery
variants of the matching listed image and inherit its source, rights status and
page assignment.

## Legacy root-level project images

These files predate the page-specific folders. Their known source information
is recorded here so that use on the website is not mistaken for a complete
copyright record.
